ASPR Early Career Research Scholar

ASPR is pleased to announce the introduction of a new award (up to $4000) which is aimed at doctoral level researchers (PhD or MD by research) in a mental health discipline. The ASPR Early Career Research Scholar will be supported by ASPR funds and selection of the awardee will be made by the ASPR Committee.

The aim of this award is to support the career development of new researchers by funding either:

(a) presentation of research findings at an international conference relevant to the candidate’s discipline or research interests (including return airfare, accommodation and/or registration up to the maximum specified amount) or

(b) a short training/research visit to an international research centre (to follow a specified program of work)
